From the web, teachers and administrators have the ability to copy previously entered lesson plans and/or meals onto a new week or day!
Please note: Teachers will need to be logged in via a computer in order to access the copy function via the lesson planning dashboard. For information on setting that up, visit here.
To copy an entire week (as a teacher or administrator):
From the dashboard, click on the lesson plan tab at the top. Then select the classroom box that has the lessons you wish to copy.
Next, select the day on the calendar you'd like to copy. If you'd like to copy a whole week, click the orange week box that contains the week of lessons you wish to copy.
If needed, use the blue “change month” box at the top right to change the month you are currently viewing.
Then, once you're looking at the plans you'd like to copy, on the right side, click the blue “copy” button.
Please note: This action will copy all meals, notes and activities that are listed!
Select the new week you want the lessons to be copied onto, and then select the classroom that needs the lesson plan! Then click the “copy” button at the bottom right.
Please note: It's only possible to copy lessons within an age group (infants to infants, toddlers to toddlers as in the example, etc). If you're outside of that age range, you'll notice the classroom doesn't pop up when you go to copy them. To make that work, as an administrator, just click the classroom box at the very top of the page, choose "Edit" and change the stage so they match. Copy the lessons you need and then just switch the stage back. Won't hurt anything!
Your weeks’ worth of lesson plans and meals have now been successfully copied and can be edited if needed!
