Documenting Meal Distributions:

Please note: Distributing meals is for use with USDA food program or similar state based programs. To add a meal to a child's report, swipe to the daily reports screen, select the child on the left and click "Meal" at the bottom.

To distribute meals, swipe to the attendance page of the Tadpoles Pro app. Click "Actions"  in the top right and select "Distribute Meal."

Select the meal you're distributing.

Choose the children that are receiving that meal (their photo will become a circle when you've selected them), then click done.

Viewing Meal Distributions:

When you'd like to view the meals that your teachers have distributed, you have a few options.

Attendance Panel:

For a quick glance at what meals a child has participated in, hover over their name in the attendance panel, found on the far right of the attendance tab of the dashboard. When you hover over their name, you'll see their check in/out time, any room movements, name to face checks and meal distributions. To view a different day, simply change the date on the calendar button directly above the column.

Reports Graph:

To view a more comprehensive report, you can click the blue "Reports" button on the attendance tab of the dashboard (shown in the image above). Once the box opens, select students > meal distributions > click a classroom & date.

The graph below shows a full month of dates, you'll see it starts on Monday, the 10th of October (signified by "m 10"). On the right side, you'll see individual child totals and on the bottom you can view meal totals for the whole classroom (not shown here).

Export:

You can also export this data to allow you to easily copy and paste the numbers into the USDA website.
