Parent Entry Notifications

We’re super excited to announce the addition of parent entry notifications for both teachers and administrators.

Dashboard:

When parents use the app to enter that their child is sick or on vacation, we’ll show you a full summary of your absent children when you hover over the, “Out today” box on the attendance tab of the dashboard.

We’ll also let you know if a parent enters drop-off notes for their child. You’ll notice a new number bubble on the, “Daily Reports” tab. That tells you how many parent notes are currently unread. The icons with the blue name bar and exclamation point icon are the ones with unread notes! Once the report is viewed by an administrator, the number in the tab is adjusted and the icon returns to normal.

Example of an icon with unviewed parent entries:

App:

When parents enter drop-off notes and absences, we’ll automatically send those to teachers as sticky notes.

As an administrator on the dashboard, you can see those sent sticky notes on your, “Notes & Alerts” tab.

We hope this helps you to keep track of the important details families share with you through Tadpoles!
